Predictions Game Rules
Everything the predictions game does, in one place: how a prediction works, how points and coins are settled, what boosters change, and how the leaderboards and badges are calculated.
Overview
Pick who wins the next Grand Prix, back your pick with coins, and get points and coins back if you're right.
Only one race is open for predictions at a time: whichever race is coming up next. A prediction is final the moment you submit it, it can't be edited or replaced, and it's settled once the real result is in and you move on to the next race.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Predict | Pick up to 3 drivers, wager coins on each, mark one as your primary pick. One submission, final. |
| 2. Lock | Predictions close 5 minutes before the race starts. |
| 3. Settle | Once the real result is in, correct picks pay out; incorrect picks lose their coins. |
| 4. Climb | Points, streaks and badges update, and the leaderboards refresh. See the next race and go again. |
Making a Prediction
A prediction is called an entry: up to 3 driver picks, one wager each, one of them marked primary.
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Picks per prediction | 1 to 3 different drivers. |
| Coins per pick | At least 1 coin. Each pick is settled independently of the others. |
| Total wager cap | 500 coins, summed across every pick in the prediction. The form blocks you from going over and shows a "Total wager cannot exceed 500 coins" message if you try. |
| Primary pick | Exactly one pick must be marked primary. It's the only one that affects your streak. The others only affect points and coins. |
| Odds | Each driver has a multiplier, frozen at the moment you place that pick. Later odds changes don't affect an existing prediction. |
| Editing a prediction | Not possible. A prediction is final the instant it's submitted, there's no edit or replace, so double-check your picks and coins before sending it. |
Prediction Window
Predictions on a race open a few days out and close shortly before it starts, giving odds time to settle and a final buffer before lights out.
| Timing | |
|---|---|
| Opens | 5 days before the race's main session starts. |
| Closes | 5 minutes before the race's main session starts. |
Both times follow the official race weekend schedule and are refreshed every few hours while the race is still open, so if the schedule is revised the window moves with it (a revision that puts the closing time in the past closes it right away). Once the window has closed the times are frozen. Before the window opens there's nothing to predict yet; once it closes the race is locked: existing predictions stand as submitted and no new ones are accepted, whether or not the real result is known yet.
Scoring & Settlement
Settlement happens once the real result of the race is available, for every prediction on that race at once.
| Your pick | Coins | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Correct | Refunded in full (doubled with a booster, see below). | coins wagered × that driver's odds (also boosted, see below). |
| Incorrect | Forfeited: that's the cost of a wrong pick. | 0 |
A prediction's total points are the sum across every pick in it, correct or not. Your streak, though, only looks at the primarypick: it goes up by one every time your primary pick is right, and resets to zero the moment it's wrong, or if you sit out a race entirely while your streak is active.
🚀 Boosters
An optional switch on a prediction that pays out more on a winning pick, at the cost of the booster itself.
| Effect | Multiplier | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| Points | 1.5x | Every correct pick in the prediction. |
| Coins refunded | 2x | Every correct pick in the prediction. |
Coins & Boosters Economy

| Best streak | The longest primary-pick streak you've ever had. | Anyone who has ever had a streak, active or not. |
Badges
Earned automatically as a race settles, based on your running totals. Nothing to claim by hand.

Cancelled Races
If a race weekend is abandoned without a classified result, every open prediction on it is refunded in full.
Coins and any booster used come straight back to your wallet, no points are awarded either way, and your streak is left untouched. A cancelled race is treated as if you never made a prediction on it at all.
